Our tethered balloon rides are the perfect way for guests of all ages to safely enjoy the thrill of rising into the sky. Lift up to approximately 50 feet in the air for a stunning view of the festival grounds, then return smoothly back to earth.

No long flights, no pressure—just pure, simple fun.

Rides operate during both sessions (weather permitting) and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

KIDS FLY FREE at the Centennial RT66 Balloon Festival, Arcadia, OK, THANKS TO EDWARD JONES!

Through the support of Edward Jones – Edmond, the first 200 kids each day (25th, 26th, & 27th), ages 12 & under, will receive a FREE tethered balloon ride!

Free kids’ rides are available during either the morning or evening tether sessions and are offered first come, first served along with all other riders until the daily 200-ride capacity is reached.

Each tether ride can carry up to 6 passengers, so the whole family can experience it together! Kids must be accompanied by an adult; all other tether rides are $25 per person.

That’s up to 600 FREE kids’ tether rides over the three-day festival, made possible by Edward Jones and their investment in creating unforgettable experiences for families in our community.
